Father Shares What Not To Do With Fidget Spinners After One Explodes In Sons Face

Happy Fathers Day!

I guess this guy missed the video on YouTube where the spinner blasted into a wall! He was trying to see how fast he could get one of those fidget spinners spinning. Just like the video I am sure you have all seen.

While blasting it with compressed air BOOM it exploded right into his son.

He did write in the comments: “I wish I would have saw that video before I tried it at home.”

Before you get mad at me for posting a picture of a kid without permission this was shared by the father her on Facebook.

The Dad wrote:

I know this post isn’t gonna be easy for some to look at, but I felt it necessary. This was caused from playing with a fidget spinner and compressed air across it. We had been playing with it for a while and all of a sudden it exploded. We are at the ER now waiting to have stitches. I am sharing so no one else has the stupid idea that I had. We were lucky it missed his eyes. It could have been much worse.

A lot of people didn’t understand what he meant. I’m confused. What exactly were you doing with the air compressor and the fidgit?

Another one asked: Which exploded the spinner or the compressed air? What was the pressure rating of the air?

To which the Dad answered: The spinner exploded.

Which is crazy to me. That thing exploded… Poor little guy,

This Dad’s post did its job. I saw 100s of comments from concerned parents just like this: My son and granddaughter owns many. I’m very interested in the compressed air. I’m not being negative or hurtful but I’m a very concerned mother/grandmother. I believe that’s the way we all feel that has committed. I hope that your son gets to feeling much better. He a handsome young man. Prayers are with you all.

The Dad (John) came back to the comments and updated the people:

He had 30 stitches total. 27 outside and 3 inside.

Hopefully, this doesn’t happen to any other kids.
